The breeding of profitable, high-performance agricultural varieties and comprehensive research in the area of plant breeding have been the focuses of our activities for more than 60 years. Our 25-hectare Gleisdorf facility is home to the breeding of corn, oilseed pumpkins, broad beans, soya beans, sorghum and catch crops and the production of breeding seeds.

We have a state-of-the-art infrastructure – new air-conditioned rooms, seed processing equipment and plant breeding rooms - and participate in international research projects and testing exchanges with international breeders. In order to shorten the lengthy breeding process our horticultural activities continue throughout the winter in Chile, Mexico and Tenerife.
